Today there are two types of copies: one for the Qing Dynasty Guangxu ten years (1884) September copy, "before the book" signed "Shangxian Yan met Ying Xi copy", "after the book" signed with The "front book" is signed with "Copied by Shangxian Yan Yuying" and the "back book" is signed with "Copied by Lai Di". Every few pages, there is an oval seal of "Quan Sheng", so it is clear that this is a copy owned by the Yan puppet class in Anhai, Jinjiang. Since there is no other copy of the Quanzhou puppet troupe to compare with, it is difficult to determine whether this copy is the "correct book". The second is a recopy written by the Quanzhou Puppet Troupe in 1978, based on the "Lai Di copy" of September of the 10th year of the Qing Dynasty. This book is a kind of puppet theater "white text". The entire book is written in a very colloquial dialect of Quanzhou, which is called "Tu Xiang" and "Tu Bai". Among them, "Carrying the Nun" and "Straw Shoe Gong Hitting the Son" are all famous mouth white plays that are well-known in ancient Quanzhou puppet theater, which are witty and vivid, elegant and popular, and have been performed for hundreds of years.
