The Legend of Little King Kong
The Legend of Little King Kong" is an original play. The play goes through the character and fate of Little King Kong, who transformed from a brave and courageous warrior who braved hardships and eliminated harm for the people to a "human scourge" who was proud of his merits and connived to do harm and was feared and hated, and finally came to his senses and became a true warrior who was "brave after knowing his shame". The process of change, as well as the change of attitude of the villagers from being grateful to Little King Kong, being treated well, singing praises of his achievements, to being resentful and even celebrating his sacrifice, reveals the profound ideological connotation contained therein. The play is an organic blend of mythology, legend and fable, which is interpreted into a new puppet play that is both real and fantasy, vivid and interesting. It strives for the unity of ideology, artistry and spectacle, and seeks new development of intangible cultural heritage in the new era.
