Lin Congpeng is a representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage project Quanzhou Thread Puppet Theatre and a famous cultural artist in Quanzhou. He has been in the art for more than 40 years and has produced countless works. The plays that he has participated in creating and sculpting include "The Flaming Mountain", "The Ancient Art and New Style Living Puppet", "The Minister of the Qin Dynasty" and "The Orphan of Zhao", which have won many awards at home and abroad. In particular, his work "Four Generals Open the Stage" was performed in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games, showing the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation to 4 billion TV viewers worldwide. His works have also been collected by the Hong Kong Museum, Chengdu Puppet and Shadow Museum, National Olympic Museum and other national museums. He has been invited to teach at the Central Academy of Drama and other art colleges and universities.
