Chen Junxiang, born in Quanzhou in 1977, has a bachelor's degree, and is a second-level choreographer of Quanzhou Tideline Puppet Theater Heritage Protection Center. He has won the honorary titles of "National Rural Youth Folk Craft Master", "Fujian Province Arts and Crafts Celebrity", "Fujian Province Carving Art Master", "Quanzhou City Master of Arts and Crafts" and "Master of Skills in the City of LiCheng". His work "Assassin's Tong Puppet Art" won the National Art Fund 2018 Young Art Creation Talent Grant Project and the Second Prize of the Ninth Hundred Flowers Literary Art Award of Fujian Province. Many works won gold medals in various national competitions; many works were collected by various museums; three works were patented; selected for the second, third and fourth national and provincial dance and art exhibitions; published many papers. Adhering to the spirit of craftsmanship, he strives to explore professional practice, and while improving his own skills, he actively teaches and promotes puppet skills and leads apprentices to teach them. Committed to the dissemination of South African heritage culture in Fujian, actively carry out the dissemination of puppet culture, and actively work on the living heritage and development of non-traditional heritage.
